Festival in the Park

Saturday, September 20 • 10:30 am - 5:00 pm


 

Discover why thousands of wine lovers make the annual pilgrimage to Palisade. Enjoy fine wine, great food and live music. Meet winemakers, cheese makers, peach growers, painters, and chefs; feel what it's like to stomp grapes; see what happens during the "crush" and how wine is made. Meet the people, be in authentic surroundings and savor the ambiance.

With 45 wineries participating, this festival is the best venue in which to learn about Colorado's vibrant wine scene. Sample from more than 250 delicious, hand-crafted wines. Discover treasures and treats from 50+ artisans and gourmet food producers.


Festival Rules and Regulations

  • Non-drinker ticket holders may not consume wine in the park
  • Wine served only to those aged 21 and over; IDs are required and will be checked at the gate
  • Chairs are allowed, but NO strollers, dogs, tables or coolers
  • Not responsible for lost or stolen tickets

Best of the Fest Competition

Sample the winning wines of the professional winemakers competition, sponsored by Moody Valley Insurance Agency. Results from the judging will be available at the RMAVV Retail Store and winery booths, and will also be announced from the Main Stage during the Festival. Live Music in the Park

A native of Denver, Michael Friedman is a widely respected bassist, composer and educator. Michael will be performing at t the festival in the park this year, beginning at 12:30 and continuing throughout the day. Read more!
 


Ticket information:

Adult Tickets: $40 in advance ($50 at the gate)
Non-drinker/Designated Driver, Ages 6-20: $20
Children 5 & under free but not encouraged (NO STROLLERS ALLOWED IN PARK)
VIP Pass: $175 (tickets are limited)
 

First Class Pass: The VIP experience

Shuttle service

Shuttle service will be provided by First Student on Saturday from the DoubleTree Hotel, Super 8, Holiday Inn, Grand Vista Hotel, Hawthorn Suites & Hampton Inn. Shuttle tickets are available for $10.
 


Getting here: Riverbend Park, Palisade Colorado

10 miles east of Grand Junction, take exit 42 off I-70. Free parking: at Riverbend Park, turn on 36 1/2 Road. Or park and ride, with shuttle service available from three locations in Palisade. Close-in parking for First Class Pass and handicap access: turn on Elberta to Logan, park just west of the Festival and follow the signs. Click here for Festival map and parking directions.
 

Helpful information

Wine will only be served to those 21 and older who have purchased an Adult ticket. ID is required and will be checked. Feel free to bring a lawn chair for your comfort. PLEASE – NO DOGS, STROLLERS, BICYCLES, OR COOLERS are permitted in the park. Bicycle storage is available at the park for a small fee. Improperly parked cars will be ticketed.
